Lazarev Anatol
Anatol Lazarev’s work shows a clear discourse of longing for an equilibrium that would balance the desire to model the image offered by reality and at the same time reveal the inner image, which takes shape in the artist’s conscience. Thus, there is a transition from a figurative, descriptive discourse to the interaction objective-subjective, reaching in the end a cooperation between the given and the imaginative-esthetic suggestion, able to “tame” some very prosaic materials which the artist uses to create small mosaic panels by an ingenious, laborious, unique-I would say-technique.
